Early Morning Yoga

Start your day with yoga and leave for work or a day with the family with a bounce in your step and a clear mind. OK, so maybe that's a tall order. Our early morning class will begin with pranayama to get the breath and energy moving then proceed with asana (and a smile) to wake up the body and address the physical concerns of those present. Along the way we will discuss Ayurveda and the yogic lifestyle and how to take what you learn on your mat and apply it in your daily life. Yes, after all that's what it's all about! This class is suitable for all levels from rank beginner to seasoned yogis and yoginis. Flexibility NOT required.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

This class carefully combines yoga asanas in a graduated sequence of rhythmic movements of body and breath to create a dynamic, challenging and meditative flow. The asanas, combined with body alignment, physical conditioning, and breathing exercises (pranayama) will help you discover many paths to healing and mindfulness.

Appropriate for advanced beginners to very experienced practitioners.

Yogi Lunch

Nourish your soul with Yoga. Step away from your routine and return to work energized and refreshed. This 60 minute Vinyasa grounding practice is just what you need to energize your day. Come to class prepared for a vigorous yoga practice.

Appropriate for advanced beginners to very experienced practitioners.

Yoga I – II

For the strong beginner through intermediate student, this class will explore all aspects of yoga, including pranayama (breath), asanas and meditation. Each student will be encouraged and supported to engage at their own level of skill and experience. Focus will be on alignment, engagement and deepening of our individual physical and spiritual practices.

Yoga for Teens (Ages 12-18 years)

Yoga for Teens

Taught by Keesha Ewers, ARNP, AAP, RYT

Adolescent classes are geared to the needs of the students in each class. We have an opportunity for check in and then structure the class according to the students. Students may be in class to gain more flexibility for a sport they are playing, to learn to meditate, to learn to understand their moods and body changes, to learn to focus and concentrate in school better, or just to have fun. Keesha has taught teens for over 20 years and feels that empowering youth is really creating dynamic leaders for tomorrow.

Compassionate Yoga

Taught by Sandy Callender, RYT

Sandy is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor. Kripalu Yoga is a style of yoga that appeals to those who want to become fit through gentle means. Kripalu Yoga teaches students to compassionately listen to their bodies. Holding postures for varying lengths of time accommodates different levels of students in each class.  Emphasis is placed on connecting the body and breath through postural alignment. Sandy uses inspirational writings to set the physical practice with holistic intention and infuses her teaching with Ayurvedic wisdom designed to enable the practitioner to leave her class balanced. This is a deeply settling and centering practice that will leave you feeling joyful, fully awake, and light.
